NATURAL SCIENCE - USING MATERIALS - VIDEOS

Hello again dear friends:

This post is about materials (plastic, wood, metal, glass, cotton, paper and leather). Students know the fact that objects are made of different materials and have different properties. This is the reason why I have chosen these videos. Remember, just click the pictures.

I hope you like them. Regards, Christopher.

NATURAL SCIENCE - UNIT 6 - PLANTS

Dear students, families and friends:

We are studying the parts of the plants (they have got roots, a stem, leaves, flowers or fruits) in Natural Science. Here you are some interesting sentences we have learned about them:

Plants, animals and people are living things.
Plants need air, water, soil and sunlight.
They grow, feed, reproduce and die.
Plants have roots, a stem and leaves. Many plants have flowers and fruit.
Plants are very useful. Oxigen, food, wood and perfume come from plants.
First, the seed grows into a plant. Next, the plant feeds. It needs soil, water, air and sunlight. Then, the plant reproduces. A new plant grows. Finally, the plant dies.

And, of course, I have uploaded the PowerPoint I have done for my lessons and the video. Just click the pictures and a new tab will open.

Thanks for visiting the blog.

Regards, Christopher.

UNIT 6 - PLANET EARTH

Hello again dear friends!

Sorry, but I have had technical problems with my computer and my laptop.
Well, as you know, we are dealing with the topic “Planet Earth”. Here you are four videos and a ppt in order to reinforce the main concepts. And remember…

We live on planet Earth. Earth is a large sphere.
Most of the Earth is covered by water. The rest is covered by land.
There is air all around the Earth. This air is called the atmosphere.
The Earth turns once every 24 hours. This is a day.
The Earth also moves round the Sun. This takes one year.
The Earth gets light from the Sun.
You can see the Moon in the sky at night.
The Moon moves round the Earth.
The Sun is a star. It is the nearest star to Earth.
The Sun gives the Earth light and heat.

Regards, Christopher.
