Here we are again. As you well know, each year we celebrate our "Cultural Week" at school. This year, we are remembering the 80s, a decade in which the life style was so different from now: make up, hair styles, clothes, music, etc. In addition, we have played the reading books we have read in the classroom: "Rapunzel", "Goldilocks and the three bears", "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Aladdin". Here you are all the videos taken that day. We are very proud of our students.
The following post is about places in the town and giving directions. It is very important to know how to ask someone where a public building is and how to go there. This is the reason we should watch the videos about it and learn as much vocabulary and structures as we can to get the information we need. Just click on the pictures and enjoy.
In this post, I want to show you the drama
the students in our school have developed. They were patients, nurses and
doctors for a day. Through this video we can learn some healthy habits we
should have, some healthy food we should eat and some recommendations for a
better life. It deals with the contents we have been working in Applied
Knowledge, Natural Science and English. I hope you like it because they did it
as professional actors and actresses and they enjoyed a lot that moment.

This post is about “Thanksgiving day”. Apart from Christmas, Thanksgiving is the most important festivity in the USA. It became a feast in the early days of the American colonies almost four hundred years ago.
In 1620 a boat filled with more than one hundred people sailed across the Atlantic Ocean to settle in the New World. This religious group, called Pilgrim Fathers, had begun to question the beliefs of the Church of England and they wanted to separate from it. Their first winter in the New World was difficult. They had arrived too late to grow many crops, and without fresh food, half the colony died from disease.
The following spring the Iroquois Indians taught them how to grow corn. They also showed how to hunt and fish. In the autumn of 1621, The Pilgrim Father to thank God and the Local Indians had a feast. After the USA became an independent country, Congress declared the fourth Thursday in November” Thanksgiving Day” a national holiday.
Turkey, corn, pumpkins and cranberry sauce are important symbols of this festivity. You can click the pictures and watch the video about this important festivity in the USA. Enjoy!!!
In this post, I want to show you the TV programme the
students in our school have developed. They were TV presenters and special
guests for a day. Through these videos we can learn some healthy habits we
should have, some sports we should do, and some healthy food we should eat. It
deals with the contents we have been working in Applied Knowledge, Natural
Science and English. I hope you like them because they did it as professional
TV workers and they enjoyed a lot that moment.

As you know, next week is Halloween
(October 31st), a day in which people wear scary costumes and they can be
vampires, mummies, aliens, witches, wizards, skeletons, ghosts, spiders...
One of the most famous witches all over
the world is Winnie the Witch, a woman who lives alone in her house and
everything around her is black. She has a pet cat and it is black too, so this
is a problem for her. How can she solve this? Just click on the pictures, watch
the videos, guess it and enjoy her adventures.
Today, in the amazing English lesson,
Ismael (4th Level A) has shown us his trip to Paris with his family (his
mother, Anabel and his father, Ismael).
They went to the most well-known museum in the capital
city (“The Louvre Museum”) and they saw Da Vinci’s famous painting created in the 16th century “The Mona Lisa” or "La
Gioconda".
They were with different characters such as Mickey,
Donald, Buzz... and they had fun in the theme park, too.
What about you? What did you do last holidays? Were
you in a different country? Did you visit any interesting places?
Hello again and welcome back to this
amazing academic year 2017-2018!
Here you
are two videos about food in the United Kingdom our students have watched in
their Applied Knowledge lessons. During this month, they will have to find out
what the healthy habits are for having a healthy body, interview their
classmates and do some drama by the end of the project called "GROWING
HEALTHY". I will upload some pictures and videos about this activity as
soon as possible.
Thanks
again for visiting and see you soon. Regards,
Christopher.

Thanks all the students involved in the project, Gonzalo (their teacher), and Justin (the language assitant), for being so creative and showing us their daily routines in the process of learning new contents.
The project is based on Teddy's Journey around Europe. Teddy will write a diary or create short videos. In each country he will stay for a month. During his stay he will visit students houses, travel with them, help them in their chores, visit their friends and relatives. Teddy will travel, cook, play ant etc. Teddy's Journey will start in Poland, after that he will travel to Lithuania and then continue his journey to another country. And finally he will come back to Poland.
The project's main aim is to make our students learn about different countries in a pleasant way. They will discover the culture, traditions, everyday life of their friends from other countries by exploring the adventures of the Teddy. It's also going to improve students' writing skills as they will have to write down all the adventures Teddy has in their countries. They will practice their English by reading to the stories, communicating with their friends. The project will encourage students to use English in their daily life. It will also improve students' ICT skills.
We'll get a lot of stories presenting Teddy's adventures, which may be used as an authentic material for English lessons. The public TwinSpace will be full with photosfrom different places in Europe. Students will improve their English and writing skills and will be encouraged to speak English in everyday situations. Students will have a knowledge about the countries which were visited by Teddy.
In this post, you can learn and wide the vocabulary refered to musical instruments. The reason of this is due to students at second level are making musical instruments with pop outs and pulses. Some musical instruments are: flute, trumpet, double bass, saxophone, cello, tambourine, guitar, drum, violin, bell, and piano.
I hope you enjoy this video. Remember, just click the picture. Regards, Christopher.
I

is Halloween time (next Saturday) and due to my students are learning the names
of the bones.
They have learnt
the following facts:
·Inside our body, there
are many bones.
·We have 206 bones.
·Bones are hard and
rigid.
·Our bones support and protect
our body.
·All the bones form our
skeleton.
·The ulna, radius,
humerus, skull, ribs, spine, pelvis, femur, tibia and fibula are bones.
Remember, just
click the pictures and enjoy. Regards, Christopher.
Here we are again with new videos, activities... In this post, we are going to learn what primary and secondary colours are.
PRIMARY COLOURS: they cannot be made from other colors. Artists create all the other colours by mixing together the primary colors. They are red, blue and yellow.
SECONDARY COLOURS: they are made by mixing two primary colors. Each secondary color is made from the two primary colors closest to it on the color wheel. They are orange (red andyellow), green (blue and yellow) and purple (red and blue).
Here you are a video about primary and secondary colours we watched at school just for fun and learn because they have to colour the famous painting "Mona Lisa" by Leonardo Da Vinci using these colours only. They cannot use pink, grey, black...
We are studying the machines in Natural Science. We know the fact that
there are many machines, such as scissors, vacuum cleaners, spades,
projectors... They are divided into simple and complex machines and they can be
manual or automatic.
We use machines to work, travel and play.
Some machines are simple, such as scissors. Simple machines
are made up of few pieces. They use human energy.
Other machines are complex, such as a bicycle. Complex
machines are made up of many pieces. They use human energy, electricity or
petrol to work.
Computers are complex machines. We use computers to do
many things, for example, to write, to draw, to play games, to watch videos, to
listen to music and to surf the Internet. Computers have many parts, for instance,
the CPU, the screen, the keyboard, the mouse, the mouse mat and the printer.
In this post, you have five pictures to different
activities (listening, reading, spelling…). Remember, just click the pictures
and enjoy them.
